You can find some great Korean restaurants in this district. Besides great restaurants, if you are looking for Korean beauty products or that singular song from the current KPop band, go to KTown. This is another cultural experience, distinctly different from Chinatown.

My family and I visited New York. We were staying in near Koreatown and enjoy Korean food. We visited several restaurants and a karaoke bar. The business owners were nice and accommodated my family with teenagers. This neighborhood made for a fun evening out that didn't break the bank.

Fun destination for food and drinks from some of the Korean community of New York City! The neighborhood is fairly small, but has so much to offer for a day excursion. The experience, however, is not all-encompassing of Korean culture. This is not Seoul in New York, it's a living, breathing New York City neighborhood and a dynamic part of the Korean diaspora in the United States. There's a tendency to exoticize and exalt "ethnic" neighborhoods like Korea Town as being perfectly indicative of the cultures they represent, but it's important to stop and enjoy the experience for what it is and not compare it to anything else.

Great place to eat Korean food, shop Korean brands, enjoy nightlife and karaoke (lots of places and restaurants are open 24 hours). But be clear, this is a single block and is in no way comprehensive of New York's Korean Diaspora; this isn't a residential area or somewhere you could deeply immerse Korean culture and history. However, a wonderful place to visit if you are craving Korean food or need Korean products or grocery.
