Before we get to the coffee, always try the thali if you’ve never tried it before. Over here they come with rice and bread along with the multitude of curries. Although known as lunch Thaalis, they are available past lunch well into 4pm which is when I visited this joint. I was craving for some poori, so got a 2 piece along with potato and korma sides and finished it off with the renowned madras filter coffee. Now, in the US they don’t serve coffees with sugar, so make sure you add it. Then pour from the cup into the base back and forth for a while and try to keep it foamy at the top. Voila! Now you have mastered the art of eating South Indian dishes right. Oh, cutlery is for the weak here.

They have home delivery also.
The food was very good and little bit spicy.
The rava dosa was very good, it was served with 3 types of chetnys and sambar.
Their Idly is also good.

The breads are just right the dips are somewhat disappointing. I loved going from the spicy dal to the tart cool (yogurt) raita but the dips seemed to all taste the same with no other dimension other than hot. The service was nice in that we had to wait for people who were late, and we were not rushed to order. If I were to return I would sit outside, the lighting in the restaurant just isn't cozy.

Excellent vegetarian Indian dishes. Specializes in dosa (crepes) and uthappams (lentil/rice pancakes). I enjoyed an excellent South Indian Thali on my first visit with a generous and delicious selection of Indian dishes. My second visit I had the Adai Avial which was 2 pancakes made of a variety of pulses with 2 dishes of curry/coconut sauce for dipping. Also delicious. I ordered the Rasam - a spicy lentil soup. Although the soup was spicy and delicious - it was way over priced at $7.49. Knock off 3 bucks and it would be good value. Looking at the menu it seemed to be the only item that didn't warrant the cost. Great Indian restaurant with eclectic dishes you won't find at many Indian restaurants. Try it and get hooked with a little something different.

Incredible food. Not your normal Indian, and super creative meals. And so affordable and unpretentious.
