We stayed here for 3 nights in New York and wanted a hotel central to all tourist attractions. The metro stop was right outside the hotel so conveinient to get about in new york even in the snow.
Concierge were truely helpful and an asset to the hotel. They will book shows for you, find you restaurants and provide you all the general information with maps for your stay in NY. Best to ask them rather than reception staff as they are alot faster at delivering information.
The rooms were clean and restful. We had 2 double beds but a small sized window which overlooked a parking lot in the side street. I did ask in advance for a room high up with good city views but we ended up on the 6th floor instead. I did wander who occupied the other 20 odd floors??
The only downside is this hotel charges like most others in NY for Wifi use. You can connect to most Wifi's at local cafe's and restaurants for free on your phone.
Tip: We didn't have breakfast here. Go out in Times Sqaure and choose one of the local diners and brasseries to eat in. We found this quaint little french one 2 blocks away which had the most exquisite breakfast menu.
Overall, nice hotel, clean rooms good ensuite facilities (with a sliding door-no lock). Definately worth a return visit.
