I stayed at this hotel last night while I visited a friend who was on vacation from overseas. The hotel is very well-located and my room was very small but very clean, as was the bathroom. The shower was great, lots of hot water and good water pressure and the water that came out of the sink was totally drinkable, no weird taste or smell. The front desk staff were nice and welcoming.
However, I was put in Room 109 which is essentially in the lobby. The noise at night from other guests talking, moving chairs around, music, was horrific. I think the noise finally died down around 2AM but by 6AM, it was at full force again. There is no way that these rooms (also 108 and 110) should be for guests. It was also creepy knowing that a large group of people were virtually 2 feet from your door while you were dressing or trying to sleep.
The included breakfast looked and smelled good but unfortunately, there was an enormous school group staying at the hotel and they took over the entire dining area and the line at the buffet was a mile long, I couldn't get anywhere near it. Not the hotel's fault, just my bad luck.
I would stay here again, but ONLY if I was guaranteed NOT to get any of the lobby rooms.More
