Went in to look around, lovely architecture, and they have many free concerts.
They have a choir and an organist and both are wonderful.

Saint Thomas Church, also know as Saint Thomas Church Fifth Avenue, is located at the corner of 53rd Street and Fifth Avenue and is a parish church of the Episcopal Diocese of New York. During my visit to this beautiful church a new organ was being installed which prevented a number of photo opportunities. Nonetheless, I enjoyed my visit and the people with whom I interacted was friendly.

We're not Anglicans but visited to experience Choral Eucharist and weren't disappointed. There was a visiting Boys'/Men's choir from Denmark, whose singing was sublime and elevating. The congregation and clergy were warm, welcoming and caring of the community they seek to serve. The vicar's sermon was inspiring, helpful in the humdrum of modern life, and he touched on topics that should be pertinent to human beings, who aspire to goodness. And his welcome, dulcet, English intonation was eloquent but clear.

Nice church surrounded by the city. Stop in have a look around and enjoy the stained glass and architecture. Quiet place amongst the din of the city.

A wonderful and peaceful church on 5th ave. not filled with tourists like another church nearby.
Beautiful carvings of saints behind the alter. Amazing stained glass windows.
Talented choristers and organist. Even song is a delight.
Undergoing the construction of a new organ at the moment so some scaffolding around. However the peaceful presence is still there.
Tourists please remember this is an active place of worship with services and a congregation..
