This is where President Washington took his oath as the first President of the United States, need I say more. Wow! I mean to be able to stand where Washington was, how cool is that. They also had some great info about the building. If you are in a hurry this is a pretty quick stop. Also the area it is in is just amazing. It is like stepping back in history. Also it was not to far from Francois Tavern. This is the tavern that Washington gave his farewell address to his officers at the conclusion of the Revolutionary War. It is also next to Wall Street. It was just an amazing way to spend the morning.

This is the place where George Washington took the oath of office and america pretty much took shape. Ominous to look at, the incredible statue if George Washington sis enough to come visit this landmark, but then you go inside and see the hidden history that nobody advertises. This place is a small museum and a historic monument all in one locate smack dab in the heart of Wall Street. Should be a part of any first time visit to the greatest city in the world.

There were people inside dressed up in period clothes. This is the building where George Washington was sworn in. The exhibit is not that big, but there are several park rangers around to help answer questions.
