We stopped here on our last day since it was within walking distance of our hotel. It was a relaxing park on a Sunday morning. There were plenty of people about, but it wasn't crowded at all. My kids had fun feeding the pigeons and trying out one of the playgrounds. It's also great for dog-watching since lots of them were out for walks. The arch is beautiful.

Lots of good benches (many shaded), some grass, the arch, the fountain, and a jazz band was playing at lunchtime. It seemed like one of the best places around to just chill for a while.

The last time I was here was in the 70's and it was a dump. Now it is MUCH improved. No trash, no graffiti, no smell . . .

Watch out for the sparrows if you eat food here. They will fly right into your face.

I’m glad we got here before the rain! This is a nice park. They have street performers and food vendors. It’s a great place to just sit and people watch or picnic.
