My family stayed six nights at the Crowne Plaza. The staff were very friendly throughout the stay, and were very accommodating when we asked to change our room from a 6th room exactly beside the elevator to one on the 15th floor at the end of the hall (we didn’t even walk into the room by the elevator). The 14th and 15th floors are “quiet floors.” The room was relatively quiet, but ANY activity in the adjoining room was easily heard.
Also the bank of three elevators is used by staff and guests alike. Further, cleaning staff can bypass floors. This made for long waits and large groups waiting for an elevator. Recommend a single elevator for staff and two for guests.
The room is nicely appointed—comfortable beds, good pillows (feather and synthetic), quality sheets, spacious bathroom/shower. Some of the little things escaped scrutiny—reading light inoperable as well as a closet light, etc.
The cleaning staff did a good job.
The adjoining bar is nice enough, but the city has countless other $15-cocktail bars so I didn’t find it particularly distinctive. I liked the modern decor as well as the the light, airy space.
Overall a very good stay. More
