Hard to find a more beautiful library....this building is stunning. Marble is everywhere and be sure to look up at the ceilings....beautiful woodwork. Just walk around and marvel at the architectual wonder of this building....and there are books here too!!!! and places to sit and read and special exhibits. Worth a visit.

We were amazed by the beauty of the library and it is so peaceful and quiet. I would definitely recommend a visit.

This beautiful and famous library is well worth visiting whilst in New York. You probably won't spend very long as a tourist, but do pop in to see the beautiful architecture and design of the place.

When we visited the public library there was an exposition on the sixties we could see for free.

The building is beautiful.

But evenmore impressive the library itself.

Beautiful.

Just hop in and visit it! It is really worth while.

You do not need to spend much time there just enough have a general impression.

It is a beautiful building that an architect or student in architecture would appreciate a lot. You are going to find some history descriptions in different areas of the building and sometimes they have exhibitions. In the entrance you have to pass a metal detector so be patient doing the line. Of course it’s a library so you need to keep the tone down. You can get in an enjoy the books and or do research. It is an amazing building and in the back it has a park where you can sit and relax or enjoy some craft tents.
