Not the first time we have been in an Eataly, we have been a few times in their Italian stores, in Rome, Turin and on the motorway.

The overall concept is very nice, in my opinion, with all these options and choices from many Italian places, arranged in a way that can remind typical food stores of long time ago and inspire a sense of quality and true food.

However, from concept to realization, sometimes something gets lost.
This isn’t the case for this downtown shop, despite its huge size.
Prime location, large choice of products, nice food at the restaurant we’ve tried (la pizza & la pasta, there are more restaurant inside), nice ambiance, smoothly organized despite the remarkable traffic inside.
Definitely a good ambassador of the Italian style (at least, in the context of food), conveys a way better image than its peers in little Italy that are now almost a caricature of themselves.

Came in for a late dinner and asked for a window table. The views are priceless as it overlooks memorial fountains and WTC. The atmosphere is brilliant, great service and delicious food.
A date night like no other. A very special place.

If you want to try early then I recommend the downtown location. Even though is prey much the same the location, views and service is much better. On our last visit we ate at the pizza and pasta restaurant. Everything was amazing from the home made lasagna to the pizza with burrata and prosciutto and a good wine list. After the meal we headed to the crepes shop for some sweets and espresso. We now come to this location instead of the fifth ave one. Service is better here as well. Looking forward to our next visit.

This was the worst pizza and lasagne we have ever tasted. Not only that but the service was not great either. We ordered drinks and had to remind them, they eventually arrived half way through our meal. At least our main meal arrived quickly. Needless to say we didn't stay for dessert, paid, waited for 5 minutes for our change, then left. Disappointed as it was a nice restaurant, and had a good atmosphere.

This location has all the attributes of its midtown store—a variety of restaurants and market where you can find anything Italian for eating or shopping, but one difference, it is not as crowded. We lunched in the pasta area overlooking the World Trade Memorial. Food was great and we split a salad and pizza plus wine. Delicious with good service and an openness that you don t experience at the other location. A block down from Century 21 it s on 101 Liberty street (4 World Trade Center) 3rd floor.
