This place deserves more stars than it's got. The food is delicious and relatively cheap. We've been to the restaurant once and ordered take out another time, and both times we weren't disappointed. Falafel wrap is highly recommended. Halabi Kabab was tasty. The mixed kabab (Moshakal) was also good, although the lamb part was a bit below the expectation (we loved the chicken and the kofta part though). Entrees come with a side of pickled vegetables which is tasty. Taboule salad is great (and the appetizer size is already big enough, unless you're only eating salad). For dessert, Osha al-Saria is amazing. The service was perfectly fine. I'll be back to this restaurant.

Stopped for lunch. Wife had bureka - looks like fluffy oversize bagel ,but was flakey and filled with feta and spinach, served with a corn salad and wonderful hummus, and it was great. I had lunch special - lamb wrap, lentil soup, and chopped tomato-onion salad. Everything was terrific. This place is a real find

The food was terrific, a great little spot in Hell's Kitchen. The waitress left you a little cold but the food was great!!

Ok, lots of restaurants near here but glad I tried tried this Druze food. We had the brunch, scrambled lamb. No pies for lunch though. 16 bucks for any choice. Good deal. Iliana from Russia was a nice waitress. Drink and desert free with meal. Try the Tamarind drink, yummy. On 9th ave, near 49th. West side of street. Very small with only 20 seats, great atmosphere.

My father and I recently dined at Gazala Place post a really hot, long High Line walk. We were slightly disappointed to find a limited lunch menu; however, what we were not disappointed by was the food. It was delicious. I had the chicken kabobs and he had the Kafta and chicken. They both came with salad, hummus and babaganoush. The food was incredibly tasty, flavorful and fresh. The quality of the meat and veggies was high and the extremely fresh hummus was to die for. We did have to request pita as it was originally not put on the table.

The food, not the ambiance nor the service, is definitely the main attraction to this place. The server made it seem as though she was doing us a favor while waiting on is, despite the fact that we were one of two parties in the very small space at the time.

I would highly recommend this tiny gem in Hell's Kitchen. Just remember to bring cash!
