I highly reccomend taking a rickshaw tour if you want to see everything in one day! We also took one of the horse coach tours, but they only last about 20 minutes and you don't see much of the park. The rickshaw lasts a little over an hour and takes you all over the park and gives you history!

Landed here to do exactly what a park is meant for, to relax. Was tired of sightseeing by late afternoon, so needed a place to rest so landed here with a sandwich. Was amazing, had lunch looked around a bit, and then got down on the grass and actually went to sleep and not one person disturbed me. Which city can boast of a place where you can do that ! A must vist place to look around and take a break of the spectacular city.

Central park is called "the park" by people who call New York "the city". Jog, bike, sunbathe, picnic (my favorite). Anything you'd like to do with nay age group. Great little playgrounds throughout. And it's safe these days too.

Whether you run, jog, walk or bike, Central Park is the place to do it. Picnicking and sports are also big activiites here. An easy place to spend any amount of time you have. Sometimes there are also concerts at Rumsey Playfield, which is right in the park off 5th and 69th. A great place to listen to music, too.
