Owner description: Grand Central Terminal is the most extraordinary public space in New York City. Opened to the public in 1913, this historic train terminal is a world-famous landmark in Midtown. Its rich history is a story of immense wealth and great engineering. Grand Central is one of the busiest train stations in the world, with approximately 750,000 visitors every day. It is the home of Metro-North Railroad, a subway station, iconic restaurants, shops, and the world's most alluring Apple Store. Some of the highlights to see along your tour of Grand Central include the opal-faced clock, valued at $20 million, above the Information Booth, the Largest Tiffany Glass Clock in the World below the 48-foot, 1500-ton Transportation statue overlooking 42nd Street at Park Avenue, and the mystifying acoustics of the Whispering Gallery in front of the Oyster Bar and Restaurant. Audio and guided tours are available for those with a passion for history. More information regarding tours and ways to plan your visit can be found on the Grand Central Terminal website.

In amongst all the tall buildings in NYC lies Grand Central Station on 42nd St. Its beauty lies in its antiquity which I have to say has been well maintained. Its elegance and charm is very appealing. GCS is a very busy, bustling high traffic station. Internally it is vast with numerous corridors, passages and levels with eateries, shops etc well worth exploring. This is a great stop over for a few hours on route to other attractions. Another plus point as to why you should visit GCS is that you step outside of the main building and you are underneath the most fabulous tall building in NYC - The Crysler Building. enough said..........

I liked this- mostly because I'm a movie freak. And there is an apple store here- why not buy it here instead of a mall. Sam prices. If you are hungry- eat at the food court the floor below- its huge!!!!

Great station with stores and coffee places. The main room is huge and has beautiful options for pictures and videos. Be mindful of the locals who are actually using the transit.

I missed this place place first time I went to NY and it was top of my list for the second time. So classy, so beautiful, you can see the Jackie O lounge and the beautifully decorated ceiling.
