Momofuku Noodle Bar is all the hype compressed into a moderately-sized dining space, and a little bit more. However, getting there when the doors open may not be enough. We arrived six minutes after the evening service started up and were lucky to get a table. Ten minutes later - the line was out the door and around the corner.
Inside, the pricey shrimp buns were beyond tasty - the Momofuku ramen bowl was just as delicious as any I've had in Tokyo or Seoul.
The service is top notch: your glass won't get past half-full, servers take time to assist with food selection - and don't rush you out the door, food arrives in a timely fashion, hot - the poached egg in the ramen, for example, was perfect.
If there's anything to critique: the cookies weren't all that. Sort of like "Krusteaz Blueberry Pancake" mix baked into a cookie. Better off hitting Mrs. Fields on the way home, paying less.
