My wife and I stayed in this home for several weeks while escaping northern winters and found it completely comfortable and relaxing. The upstairs bedrooms have large window with blinds that open from either the top or the bottom--waking up in the morning with the sun streaming in through the upper panes was like paradise. Morning coffee or a glass of wine in the late afternoon on the very private back porch really felt like an indulgence. The neighborhood was great--very quiet and friendly. We brought our one-year old collie and my wife made friends with at least a dozen other dog owners just by walking around and talking to people. The house is across the street from a catholic girls school and we had assumed that would mean noise and commotion twice a day but we found to our surprise that we really heard almost nothing! A great coffee house was just two blocks away and wonderful restaurants were within easy walking distance. Rosemary and Sean were always available when needed but never intruded on our solitude. We spent quite a lot of time looking for just the right place to stay in San Diego and I can truly say that our high expectations have been exceeded. We have already booked our stay for next year!
