This hotel is really in need of an upgrade. It is not up to the standards of Wyndhams. The rooms are dirty. Water stains on ceiling. The carpet is disgusting. The only closet in the small room is in the bathroom, which is so small. You have to close the door to even access the closet. The bathroom is outdated and dirty. The maid service is poor. The only nice thing in the room was the bedding. There was no fridge. Our AC didn't work. We couldn't turn it off and it kept blowing hot air. We had to complain twice. The finally fixed it after 2 days. The maid only gave us decaf coffee. We kept asking for regular but kept getting decaf. There is a $29 daily fee to park. No security in the parking garage. Our first night there, we pulled in and had to sit and wait until a physical fight was over. To say the least, we were a little worried. It is a shame they don't upgrade the interior of this hotel. The outside and the the lobby look very nice. But, once you get to your room, it is like a low end hotel. Horrible! I would never stay here again.

Room tip: Do not stay here unless you are ONLY looking for a great location.

This hotel was perfect for my needs. Free shuttle back and forth to the airport. Walking distance to little Italy where good food was all around. Has restaurant in premises too-had great chocolate cake. USS midway across the street. Can get the hop on hop off tour across the street for city tour. Also near where the ferry is for Coronado. Rest of tour sites e.g. zoo, mall etc.. you can take Uber at reasonable rates.
Location was excellent. Staff was helpful and answered all questions. Room was very spacious. The only thing I thought would have made it better would have been a refrigerator in the room. Aside from that everything was great.
On my next trip to San Diego will definitely come back to this hotel.

We stayed on the 11th floor of Tower 3. I read a lot of reviews before we came and was a little worried but we saw no concerns. It's not a new fancy hotel if that's what you're looking for... If you're looking for a decent place to stay right downtown then you're in luck!
Clean room with a comfortable king bed. We got a roll away brought in for our son-no complaints. Front desk staff were quick and helpful even though it was midnight on a Saturday. There was a bit of a musty smell at first in the room but we just opened the balcony door for a bit.
We had dinner at Claim Jumper one late evening with great drinks and the dinner was fine too.
Mini fridge are hard to come by due to the hotel being booked and this is an inconvenience but I anticipated this might happen and packed a lightweight collapsible cooler. We packed some drinks etc. in ice and we're good to go.
We would stay again.
