Went here two nights in a row and we're delighted both nights. Good value for money with amazing tasting food. Very accommodating to kids and would recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves great food.

I was told the seafood was 48hrs from catch to table. The swordfish I had tasted quite fresh. A little interesting how this restaurant is laid out with several smaller rooms which would probably be good for small parties.

My mouth is watering as I'm writing this review. In my opinion this is the best restaurant in San Diego. They have it all! The food, atmosphere, music, service, and location are amazing.

My husband and I have been going here since they opened and go as much as we can. If we have something to celebrate or a special occasion this is the first restaurant that we think of.

We went there for our anniversary and I couldn't believe my eyes when we got sat at our table. They had a ton of the brightest pink rose petals all over the table with a hand written and colored card from the staff members thanking us for celebrating with them. I even have their card hanging on our refrigerator! It was such a sweet gesture and really made me smile and made us both feel so special.

We both almost always order the same thing, the Lemon Sole, and it is delicious. It is crusted in parmesan cheese and comes with a garlic butter sauce that we get on the side instead of on top. We usually get a side brussels sprouts or potatoes and they are both very good. For dessert you can't get anything besides bananas foster, it is the best dessert I think I have ever had.
The atmosphere is perfect, the lightening isn't too light or too dark. The music is the perfect volume. They usually have a live band in the evening and it is louder in the bar and softer in the dinning room.
Service is always spectacular. Every time we go we have always said how sweet every waiter and waitress is and everyone is always helping each other out.

I just love this restaurant so much and can't wait to go back!

We aren't "foodies" but we do dine out and like to treat ourselves every now and then. The experience was fantastic, from the opening of the doors to the phone call the next day asking us if we enjoyed our meal. The decor was retro yet modern, service exceptional and the food did not disappoint. We usually get wine but were very satisfied with the cocktails, especially the orange mojito. The Jumbo Lump Crab appetizer was decadent, perfectly seasoned and the shrimp with atomic horseradish was yummy. The crab fried rice was great, a tad bit salty for my taste but it made a great left-over the next day and the twice baked potatoes were a big hit. The Wild Mushroom Salad salad was the "best salad I ever had" according to my teenage daughter and the Caesar salad was not only a work of art, but just simply perfect. The entrees were fantastic, from the 8oz Filet Mignon, the seafood medley special and the wonderful Pacific Ahi Tuna. Lastly we had to have the Banana Foster Cake, it was the perfect ending to a perfect meal. The only "complaint" was that a very large party came in during our meal - we prefer quieter environments as a couple us are sensitive to noise and we had to yell a few times to talk to each-other but when we come back we will try to ask for a quieter spot. This is the third time I noticed that making a reservation via OpenTable doesn't put us in a great spot, may just be a coincidence. When I noticed this restaurant was ranked #7 in San Diego I tried not to have unrealistic expectations, but the food and service was #1 in our book!
