Oh my!! This was amazing. The presentation was beautiful. Each dessert is like its own piece of artwork. ALMOST a shame to cut into it but oh how tasty. We were not disappointed. We got bread pudding, Cream Brulé bun and torte tamasu (sp). After three days we still hadn’t eaten it all.
The line was long but moved quickly and even if we had to have waited it would have been worth it.
Highly recommend putting this on your “must do” while in San Diego.

Thank Dana L

Oh my goodness the desserts here are out of this world! The place itself is pretty understated, but definitely worth coming to to spoil yourself with dessert and coffee!

The deserts were tasty but the place is expensive. I paid 8.70 for a dirty chai. We had a one brownie, one napoleon and one piece chocolate cake plus the dirty chai and the bill was $48.

Still licking my lips after the very delicious cake we had here! The wait staff was attentive and didn't rush us despite the crowds. The sandwiches were fine but really, go for the desserts!

Came here as a treat after melting at the San Diego Zoo. If this is the first time you go there its a little confusing and challenging. You can order anything they have in the case but you need to get up to the register to see everything so take your time, walk past people, perform your due diligence.

Once that is resolved.. Sit back, relax and wait for heaven on a plate. The presentations are stunning!
And those flavors... eyes rolling in the back of the head, moment of silence please. Delicious chocolate and creamy goodness.

Fair warning.. If your counting calories this is not the place for you.. While we were there someone at a nearby table joked "I can feel my arteries hardening, but its so good"
