We recently travelled to Boston to visit a few colleges and had booked one night at Buckminster. We ended up getting an earlier start than anticipated and decided to call the hotel to let them know when we would arrive to see if we could store our luggage (it was 90 degrees out and had a laptop in the car). The woman I talked to was very pleasant and indicated that they had plenty of room to store our bags with no problem. When we arrived, she confirmed that I was the one who called and checked to see if our room was available early. Within a few minutes of waiting, we were pleasantly surprised that they were able to get our room ready so quickly. We entered the room and it was great! It featured a large living room and separate bedroom with two queen beds. Very large windows overlooking the street. One drawback I can say is that the bed's mattress seemed to force us to roll towards the middle of the bed. It is connected to Uno's, so you don't even have to go outside. The staff at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. It is an older hotel and has plenty of charm. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it. (Note: We had booked through an on line site and received an excellent rate for the room we got. The site didn't tell us the name of the hotel, but guaranteed the appropriate bedding for the number of people we had entered.)

Room Tip: Not sure what room category this would fall into, but we had a living room with a pull out couch and a separate bedroom with two queen beds.

My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Buckminster 8/10/18 after taking in a concert at Fenway Park. The hotel room was very nice, comfortable, clean. Free WiFi, big screen TV as well. Can’t beat the location as it’s literally across the street from Fenway. Hotel has its own parking garage and is within a short walk to many great restaurants. Will definitely stay there again.

Great hotel. Clean, convenient, and quiet. Old but nicely maintained. Nicely decorated. Easy walk to subway and lots of restaurants. Feels homey. Restaurant in hotel. We didn’t have a great experience one of our days - food was a long time coming. No explanation from waitress when asked why ? - but it did not ruin our stay!

What a stay at the Boston Hotel Buckminister 5th floor with a Fenway view. Four huge windows in suite, 2 overlooking the huge Citgo sign and other two looking directly an Fenway Park. What a great suite and parking right at the hotel. Walk across the street and your at Fenway.

What a fantastic concert, it just doesn’t get better. If you have the chance don’t miss this concert in the future.

We loved this hotel. Our room was huge, a king bed in one room and a full bed in another bedroom and a living room with small microwave and mini fridge. The beds were very comfortable. The hotel staff were very nice and accommodating. They offered us an umbrella because it was raining. We went to a concert at Fenway, this location was perfect. We will definitely be staying here again. The hotel has so much history.
