There is some good and bad news about this hotel. First, the good news is that it is located in a great part of the city, close to everything, and within walking distance of downtown and all the stores. It is also located close to the Capitol and some of the tourist areas. Again, everything in the downtown area is an easy walk.
We tried breakfast here and it was very good, although very pricy. $60 for two. Ouch.
On the downside, the hotel is showing its age and is in need of a major renovation. There is a lot of construction going on around the hotel, but not inside or at the hotel, so you hear a lot of street noise, pounding of hammers, clambering, etc. If you want a good night's sleep, don't stay here.
The bathroom is very small. You will feel squeezed. The bed was comfy. TV was ok. Most of the furniture was dated and banged up. The room felt dark and dingy. Considering the costs, I would not stay here again, even though it's in a great location. Two nights stay from 10/09-11/2018 cost: $1,345.71. Parking is $51/night.More
