This is Bostons crown jewel. What a beautiful and elegant hotel.
I drove from New York straight to Boston. I was so tired and hungry, I wanted to have the famous Boston Cream Pie (Omni Parker House invented the dessert) before hitting the rack. I didn't check into the hotel, I went straight to dessert!
After my bedtime snack, I checked in. I was greeted with flavored water, very tasty. There's a concierge service, I put them to work during my stay. Very helpful in planning my exploration of Boston.
Parking in the area? Stinks. There are no parking lots like New York City, I was at the mercy of the hotel and boy was it expensive.
Once I had my dessert (Awesome by the way) parked my car, I went up to my room for a shower and to crash. The room? It wasn't huge but the furniture and bathroom was large for myself during my stay. If I had my wife with me, the bathroom didn't have enough room for all our toiletries. The bed was big and I went to sleep pretty quickly, no problems there.
The hotel itself is in a great neighborhood, there is lots to see and do. There is a Ruth Chris Steakhouse across the street if you get tired of the hotel restaurant.
Overall, I appreciated the elegance of the hotel. I will return if I'm in the area.More
