“Outstanding Service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 March 2012

We checked in before noon and, as an Ambassador Club member, were upgraded to an executive suite overlooking the wharf. There was an issue with my Ambassador Club number not syncing with my Priority Club number which the check-in agent noticed and offered to remedy.

The two-room suite was huge! and well laid out for business with the living/meeting area distinct from the bedroom. There was also a powder room, separate from the private bathroom, which was also a plus for business meetings. We were there for vacation, however, but enjoyed the space and added amenties.

The service, overall, was outstanding. After checking in, we decided to take a walk. The bellman stepped over to the unattended concierge desk to see if he could help and drew us the route on the map which would get us to our destination most directly and easily. Service in Miel Restaurant and the RumBa was exceptional as well.

Room Tip: Join the Ambassador's Club for $200/yr for guaranteed upgrades, free internet and a free weekend...

I was here for one night for business and then transferred to another hotel, .....and didn't want to leave. This hotel is in a great location near the harbor, historic district. Easy walking distance to Fanuiel Hall, Commons, Aquarium, and South Station. Family friendly and business oriented. Staff was professional and friendly. There is a restaurant and bar but I didn't eat there so can't comment on the food. There is a small gift shop with soda, water and snacks as well as a business center.

Also, great walking around the harbor and nearby to several really good restaurants.

Only cons was the $40 for parking, unfortunately this is a typical rate for Boston. And the price for the room was a little steep, but again - typical for Boston in that area this time of year.

Would totally recommend to other travellers.

Thank you for sharing your experience. As you mentioned, one of our most appealing features is our location. Several sites unique to Boston, such as Faneuil Hall and the New England Aquarium, are just short walking distances away.  Not only are we close to public transportation, but during the warmer months the water taxi is a fantastic way of transportation to and from the airport that many guests do not know about. With a dock right behind our hotel it is convenient and a great way to tour the Boston waterfront during your ride. Next time you visit be sure to stop by our concierge desk for more in the know tips on Boston’s attractions. We love to hear from guest that truly enjoy their visit to our property and we understand the value of word of mouth. It is great to hear you will be recommending our hotel to others and hope you will visit us again yourself.

This is a family friendly hotel with the children's museum just across the way. My family took my here for Mother's Day and the buffet was amazing. The hotel has a great outdoor lounge and fun sushi bar.

We are delighted we could make your Mother’s Day memorable and provide you and your family with the perfect destination for your vacation. With 143 double bed rooms and 38 suites, our spacious accommodations are ideal for families visiting Boston. Miel’s annual Mother’s Day brunch is very popular and our Miel Chef de Cuisine David Chinta was thrilled to hear that you enjoyed your experience in our restaurant. Miel ‘Brasserie Provençale’ celebrates the flavors of Southern France with delicious cuisine. Next time you visit,  be sure to indulge in our other restaurants & bars, Sushi-Teq and RumBa. RumBa, our sassy rum-themed bar serving international distilled rums, appetizers, and mixes of Latin and Caribbean music. Also in our lobby, East meets West at Sushi-Teq, our chic salsa bar pairing sushi with vintage tequila. We are trilled to hear you enjoyed your stay and hope to welcome you back soon.

We stayed last summer, took the water taxi from Logan Airport, walked to fabulous resturants and thorougly enjoyed the all-too-short stay. I'm looking forward to a return visit. The room was large, great full window view of the harbor, and great amenities.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the harbor

We always love to hear from a guest who has had an exceptional experience and will be sure to share your comments and praise with our staff. It is great that you were pleased with the size of your room and bathroom in addition to our waterfront location. As you experienced, we do offer one of the most generous sized standard hotel rooms in Boston at approximately 430 sq. ft. From location to service, the InterContinental Boston team understands the importance of both. Our staff works very hard to make each guest’s experience memorable and to exceed their expectations. We are delighted to hear you enjoyed your stay and hope that we will welcome you back in the future.
