In these parts one gets used to mediocre Mexican food, with a few exceptions. Casa Verde changes the picture. The tacos are made with dark corn tortillas that you can taste, and the fillings are inventive and fresh. We loved the black bean queso fresco, the shrimp diabla, the chicken mole, and the fried fish tacos. Two big bowls of tostadas with sauce disappeared quickly. We will be back.
