My husband and I watched the glassblowing process. It was fascinating. The guys were great about explaining what they were doing and there was a good FAQ sheet in the viewing area. There were beautiful pieces for sale of all different types and price ranges. We decided to purchase a vase just like what they were currently making so we had a story to tell. You can’t buy the ones just being made because they need to cool for 15 hours or so, but luckily they had the same style on display.

We really enjoyed our visit to the Lexington Glassworks and purchased a lovely vase. We watched the artists create pieces of glass in a variety of colors and styles. There is no charge for watching or visiting.

Thanks, Sara, for writing us such a nice review. It's great to hear that you enjoyed your visit and decided to take home a handmade piece; gallery sales are what keeps the dream going! We pride ourselves on our open door culture by inviting others to view the glassblowing process from start to finish. We understand that not everyone is able to purchase a handmade piece but hope that visitors would consider donating a couple dollars donation for our time and hard work. Thank you so much for the kind words and we hope to see you again soon!

My husband and I stopped by for a glass blowing demonstration. It was so cool to see the entire process, and the artist explained all the steps. You can have a beer while watching!

This glass blowing studio is a cool place to check out while in Asheville! It was awesome to watch the glass blowers work and create. There are so many beautiful pieces on display that are for sale and the employee working at the studio / main desk was very informative and friendly. They do not have a parking lot to park in, but there is affordable public parking near by. Definitely worth the stop!

Thank you for writing such a kind and informative review! We pride ourselves on our open door culture and by inviting visitors to view the glassblowing process from start to finish, we hope to grow an appreciation for and relationship with the artist making the glass and the pieces on display in the gallery.

Unfortunately, we do not have parking. There is a parking garage located across the street with reasonable rates and a "first hour is free" policy.

Again, thank you for taking the time to write us a review! Stop by whenever you're in town!

We were just walking around town and came across this place. They made a large 3-color glass plate in about an hour right in front of us and explained each step of the process. The inside is a wide open warehouse feel and they have a railing between the observing area and glass making area, so it's safe. They also have beer (& water) that you can drink while watching, which was definitely cool. Even our two kids (8 & 10) enjoyed watching.
