We came from Pennsylvania and were recommended by one of the locals. To start we had grape leaves and dates stuffed with goat cheese and wrapped in bacon. Both were delicious, but the dates were AMAZING!!! For dinner I had the vegetarian platter and my husband had eggplant mousaka. The entrees were good as well!!! We can't wait to come back and eat here again! Also the atmosphere was cool- we sat on the floor in the beautiful tent room.

This is the second time that we have eaten here, and it was wonderful both times. It has a casual atmosphere and is decorated to make you feel like you are in a middle eastern tent. The food is amazing! The falafel is wonderful and so was the lamb. It literally fell off the bone.

These guys know how to cook lamb...melt in your mouth, middle eastern seasonings -- it's incredible. Really friendly staff and interesting menu. I'm sure there is a lot on the menu that's great, I just can't ever get past the lamb. It's a work of art.

From the moment we stepped through the door, my boyfriend and I were absolutely transported and delighted. Our server was attentive, friendly, and so creative and enthusiastic in his descriptions that I was afraid the food would fall flat in comparison. I couldn't have been more wrong. The flavors were incredible, everything was fresh, perfectly cooked, and presented with so much beauty and care. We opted for brunch, sharing an order of shakshuka and the eggs florentine special. Both were wildly different and equally fantastic. The Turkish coffee is to die for.

In a weekend of incredible dining experiences in Asheville, Jerusalem Garden easily topped them all. I can't wait come be back for more.

This is an attractively decorated restaurant with great Middle Eastern food. The feel is sort of like eating in a big tent. There's a choice of floor or table seating. If you are all in to Middle Eastern cooking or spices this is a good place to go. The portions are large and there's a decent wine and beer selection, both domestic and Middle Eastern. The service is friendly and attentive. You Don't find too many places like this the South. I had the lamb shank and it was delicious.
