I had such an amazing time at the cabin. It is truly a place to unplug and unwind. I couldn’t have asked for a better vacation!

“Great get away in the mountains!”
Reviewed 17 September 2017 for a stay in September 2017

We had a fantastic stay at this cabin. First of all, you do need to know that the road (gravel) up to the cabin is rough. You'll want a car with a bit of clearance (but 4 wheel drive isn't necessary- at least not in September). Tammy has a great place, though. It's very comfortable and nestled in the trees. The deck was a fantastic place to sit. We sat there with coffee in the mornings (and watched hummingbirds) and with a cocktail in the evening (and watched hummingbirds!). Sitting in the hot tub on a cool, mountain night was phenomenal. It really is a great spot to be in the middle of nature- quiet, peaceful, beautiful. Tammy does an amazing job of making it a pleasure to stay there, too.

“The Perfect Romantic Mountain Cabin location”
Reviewed 12 September 2017 for a stay in September 2017

So I will admit when we first booked this cabin, I had reservations about it however after staying there for four nights, I have to admit it was the best vacation the wife and I have had in years. It is very remote and is a good ways off the beaten path but once you get to the cabin, it's wonderful. Tammy has gone out of her way to make this a great stay for those who are wanting to experience the great outdoors, to visiting Ashville or for those who just need the down time. We enjoyed the outdoors, the spa and looking at the stars at night. Even when it rains, it's a peaceful and romantic for a couple to get away reflect on what is important to them. The other advantage is the cabin is only 30 mins away from Ashville so there is a lot to do during the day and great places to each just 15 mins away as well. The property is beautiful and the sound of the creak outside the cabin is great when falling a sleep, not to mention, the beds are extremely comfortable and the cabin is spotless. If you are visiting the Ashville area or just wanting time to yourselves, this is the place to stay.
