Have been here before and it is nice but was way too crowded and pricey. For the price of admission they should give you the audio guides not add another $10.

Do not go. It was a bad experience, starting with the employees at the ticket counter. The gentleman that assisted us was smug and rude. He also mentioned that we were the last customers before his shift ended.

Love the Titanic movie costumes being on display! The house is amazing. Definitely pay the extra for the audio tour!

This tour dramatically exceeded my expectations, having only toured the mansions on the Cliff Walk of Newport RI!!!
Oh my goodness!! The meticulous care and constant refurbishing of every detail of this palatial home is simply incredible!

This tour will totally captivate your soul! Gorgeous and impeccably decorated 178,000 square foot home in pristine condition on spectacular grounds with serene Mountain View’s! Absolutely breathtaking, and incredibly moving audio narrative which you want to include (extra cost) on the tour.

I was told countless times by other patrons of this venue that nothing can beat coming to see this Home decked out for Christmas! I can only imagine, and hope to return in November when the home is completely festooned for the Holidays!

The gardens on our visit were lovely in their jonquil, tulip, iris glory, as were the cherry blossoms, and azaleas!! I can only imagine the wonder of the rose garden when it blooms in June! This is a must see destination in North Carolina!!

Took the tour of the house with audio - it was a full 2 HRs just inside the amazing mansion. The outside was gorgeous with the conservatory. Went wine tasting, did a great wine and chocolate pairing and had dinner at the Bistro .A first class experience all the way
