The motel is within walking distance of all the quaint moab shops and restraunts. The staff made us feel like we were long lost friends, very good folks. The rooms are older but clean and for the price you can't beat it. Looking forward to staying here again.

Room size and location great. 1 inch, long dead, black beetle and toe nail clippings on the carpet, ugh! Overall cleanliness of room not apparant . Furnishings definately tired, refrigerator barely working. Wireless Internet new to facility and spotty - not available in room, only in office. No other vacancies to be found in Moab so it was here or the car for sleeping. The old saying, you get what you pay for. Cheap rate. If you are not really fussy, this might do for your accomodations.

Not super fancy, but clean and comfortable with spacious rooms which include kitchenettes and outdoor patios. This was a great spot for us with our 2 teenage boys. Beautiful setting next to the cliffs, a bit outside of Moab -which was a bit crowded and touristy feeling to me. We took a half-day river rafting trip on the Colorado which was fabulous. The food at the lodge was plentiful- critical for the teenagers, the pool was a great respite on a hot afternoon. We were so glad we found this place. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed for 3 days in this hotel during memorial day weekend. The primary reason we picked this hotel was that we booked late and this was one of the hotels that still had a vacancy :-) Rates were also one of the cheapest from our research of Moab hotels (Rates varied from $65 - $75 a day during our stay period). Moab is the closest town to both Arches and Canyonlands park and this hotel is ideally located just off of center of moab. So it was a very convenient walking distance away from many restaurants and shops in moab. The room itself is very basic. It had a mini-fridge which was very useful. We carried our own supply of soap/shampoo/conditioner and didn't have to rely on the hotel supplies. This place is good if you don't expect much from your hotel room and plan to spend most of your day outside like we did!

I thought this motel was a bit expensive, at USD 65 on average per night before tax, given that the rooms are nothing special. Guests are paying for the location, as Moab attracts a lot of people for very different reasons: hikers, rafters and mountain bikers. It is the only town for miles with any sort of nightlife, so room rates are high everywhere. That said, Red Rock Lodge has one of the lowest rates available. The motel is well situated, just off the main street which dissects the town.
