these tasty and affordable banh mi sandwiches are made right in front of you in a tiny little shop. seating for maybe a total of 8 in the whole place. cash and cards. order by number from the chalkboard menu. not the greatest neighborhood, but just a couple of blocks from swanky ones. i had zero issues getting to/from this place well after dark - lots of sidewalk / street traffic. the sandwich (i got the $4 tofu) was warm, spicy, and freshly herbed. the roll was crusty enough too. i'll be back. this is a small operation - paper napkins and a nice smile. place your order, wait for it, pay for it and enjoy. i'm just happy that the place sustains itself and can sell me an amazing $4 sandwich!
