We had been walking all over the city and were in need of a snack and some warmth since it was a typically windy, cool day in SFO. We popped into North Beach Gyros and were not disappointed. We ordered hummus and Avgolemono soup to tide us over until dinner. Both were very good - soup was nice and hot (home-made) and the hummus was served with warm pita bread. It is a small, unassuming place but the food was very good. My son-in-law had a gyro that he said was delicious.
