We had an amazing meal during on trip to San Francisco. The server made really great recommendations. Oysters for an appetizer and Cioppino for dinner.

At Scoma's there is no question you definitely do. The service is great and food even better. Located close the Peir 39, this San Fransisco classic is a must visit unless you are in a budget. Most lunch/dinner offerings will run you around $30-$50 for one amazing meal but as I mentioned before, it's worth it!

Called from pier 5 on Easter Sunday and they made room for a wonderful lunch for 4 later that hour! Dungeness crab delightful, line caught salmon fresh, tasty oysters, soups rich with flavor (crab chowder and clam chowder). Thanks for a great meal

I have been here twice recently and enjoyed it both times. You know the seafood is fresh when you can sit at the window and watch the catch being unloaded. I love the old-school Italian service with professional waiters. My only complaint is that on the second visit, the oysters were gritty. But the flavor on the oysters and crab was so amazing. Cocktails are great as well.

This place does a lot of advertising to lure tourist in...it has a great location, but I believe that one could do a little better on food quality. I felt the food was good, but nothing to brag about. The dining tables are pretty close together and it almost seems like you’re eating dinner with strangers seated next to you. The service was good, but the prices were a little high for the quality.
