Description: Baladie Gourmet Café is happy to give you a unique taste of our exclusive palette of flavors with the click of a button. We want you to discover the best of the best in the San Francisco area. Try our Specialty Salad that comes with pita, one dolma and one pepperchini. The Greek Salad or Foutush Salad is spectacular. But wait our menu items include so much more. Our Sultan’s Iron Bowl is perfect for catering and serves 10-15 people as does our Party Spinach Pies. Another great item for catering is our Dessert Trays with baklava, halva, burma, and fruit. Lavash Deluxe, Gyros, and Vegetarian Pies are among other favorites on our menu. nick-owner-

Been coming here for 20 years for lunch, since the dot com boom when a belly dance bought you a free lunch. Excellent middle eastern food. The dip platter, chicken shawarma and sultan's iron bowl are highlights, but it's all good. Friendly people as well. No bathroom.

Stopped in for lunch on a recent SF trip. It has limited seating, including some outdoor tables, but is great for a quick bite to eat during lunch, and meals are easily taken to go. I had a chicken shawarma and it was good enough to remind me of shawarmas I have had traveling in the Middle East.

I'm not sure if I've been spoiled by NY falafels, but the falafels here were just a disappointment. They are very frugal with tahini, and the falafel balls themselves aren't very crispy or flavorful. Also they do this weird thing where the pita is cut in half and the falafel is served as two halves. Not sure why they don't just slice off a small portion of the top of the pita and stuff it as one whole falafel. It's just more convenient... maybe it's just a personal preference.

Definitely try their wraps. Delicious food!! Appetizer plate was great, too. I asked for ayran and they even have it.

We went looking for this restraint because we wanted to try its type of food. Had its address and walked by it ones and almost a second time. The place is small and a bit ruff to look at but clean with two medium-size tables inside and two small tables outside.

The selection is varied in the Mediterranean types Greek, Turkish and other. Also at the time of ordering when appropriate they ask about how spicy or not you like your food.

Will be back here when in San Francisco, when we are looking for good food at a good price.
