Description: A San Francisco bakery specializing in freshly baked pastries. Our journey began with great-Grandfather Moshes who traveled from Iraq to Israel carrying with him a wealth of delicious recipes. We wish to offer our customers a glimpse into our rich culture and heritage so that you too may experience the smells and tastes that we have grown up with. Our selection of recipes include traditional and homemade dishes cooked the way Grandfather Moshe would have cooked it. The flavors and smells of our culture are our mother tongue. Even though we have adopted different languages these recipes still define comfort, excitement and joy for us.

We were looking for kosher food and the kosher app took us to this bakery where the food is freshly baked and very good. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the prices are fine. But OMG the location is scary. 6th street is the slums of the slums. I really hope the city will clean this place up soon.

A rare treat to find kosher food in downtown San Francisco. Very near the Chabad. Went for breakfast and lunch. The sandwiches were tasty. The breads are all fresh from the oven and Pas Yisroel. Not cholov Yisroel but they have almond milk for the coffee.

A truly unique experience...Israeli kosher food..bakery style food. A limited menu of good treats and savouries...the area wasn't great along 6th but worth a walk to try something new. Restaurant.com is your friend here.

Stopped here for lunch before a visit to SFMOMA 10 minutes away. Tasty assortment of savory Israeli treats and dips. Blueberry doughnut for dessert was best. Highly recommend, just a bit in the expensive side for a super casual light lunch ($30 including a couple of canned drinks).

We tried the shakshuka basket and the pesto/mushroom sambusak. Both were great, as were the desserts. In fact, the food was so good, we bought lunch for the next day. We tried it out because it's the only kosher dairy restaurant in San Francisco, but it's one of those places that I would recommend to everyone.
You order from the counter where you can see all the choices, and there are a few tables and a counter facing the window. We got an explanation of all the choices, and they carefully wrapped the food we were saving for the next day too. The neighborhood is not great, but on the other hand, we were able to find free parking not far away.
