A beautiful walk through the gardens reminded me of my trip to Japan. We have been to San Francisco before, we did all the major tourist things so it was time to just take a walk through the gardens and enjoy its beauty.

One of the best things about the botanical gardens is the number of paths and walkways available to meander through the gardens....themed to different regions around the world. One moment you’re looking at native California flora and then it’s off to Africa or Asia. The staff members were pleasant, and the map highlighting current blooms was really useful. These gardens are a nice way to leave the concrete jungle behind for an hour or two.

A great way to spend a few hours in San Francisco. The gardens are nicely laid out for easy walking and viewing. There are a lot of unique trees, flowers, plants and smaller pathways to explore. Very enjoyable!

If you've had enough of crowds and noise and cityscapes, come here for some rejuvenation. Large ground with tremendous variety of plants, flowers, trees, and some wildlife. Large collection of magnolia trees which are spectacular when in bloom. Delightful!

We went to see the blooming magnolias. Some had already dropped their blossoms but others were coming out on different trees. There is a short blooming period.
