The grounds were very nice and the amenities sufficient. Restaurant offered lots of seating for large or small/intimate party. The rooms offered comfortable work space and of course, bed and bathroom were ok. I was a little bother though when I looked closer to the furnishing.. the lights stands and table were dusty, I noticed this when I turned on the bed lamps. Made me
curious what else the cleaning staff ignored or didn’t bother to clean. Also, the shower was a bit odd. The bathroom design gives it a modern look and is probably intended to make it easier to get in/out but I was puzzled that it was a partial wall.. there was no curtains or anything to keep the water from spraying on the floor. Overall, this is a great facility.. just need to make sure the cleaning crew did their job.

Stayed one night only on the north shore and stayed at the Marriott. Large rooms, comfortable beds, had a nice meal, staff were excellent. Close to most things on the north shore - would definitely stay again

nice total with good staff, unfortunately windows do not open and the air-con does not have a heating option, Oahu gets a bit chilly mid winter so having a massive cooler doesn't really help much. TV was good with cable HD channels and access to a few online services if you have a subscription. Parking $10 a day, internet was very slow and quite poor

We stayed at the Courtyard by Marriot for a week, it was a great place to stay while on Ohau. The the room and the hotel were very clean. It is next to the Polynesian Cultural Center. The town of Laie has everything we needed (grocery stores, restaurants, entertainment) plus beautiful views of the Pacific. I would recommend the hotel to anyone that wants to know the real Ohau.

The North Shore Marriott Courtyard turned out to be an excellent location for 4 nights and 3 days. The room was great. We swam in a beautiful pool in the morning and had great breakfasts at the hotel's cafe. Everyone at in the hotel and cafe were great. We were on the 3rd floor and one morning we watched our window washed perfectly from the ground. On my way to swim, I had a great conversation with the window washer. He was good, he loved his job, and he said not to feel bad about my own windows, he had 20 years of experience. Everyone was "Aloha" friendly.
We walked to great lunches and dinners at the Polynesian Cultural Center on our first and second days. Explored Turtle Bay, Sunset Beach and Haleiwa our third and fourth days. Kayaked with turtles, cooled ourselves with Matsumoto shaved ice, learned the romance of Black Pearls, touched the Banyun Tree from Hunger Games, and dined by the ocean at Turtle Bay; then returned easily to the Marriott. Sad but happy we drove east, only to be in the spray of the ocean as it broke over the Kamehameha Hwy,, on our way to ko'olau convention center and our special event Birthday for a 90 year old aunt.
