Family vacation, lots of beautiful spots to hang out at. No real beach, numerous lagoons which are nice for smaller kids. Need car as not central but not difficult to get around. Would go again in a heartbeat.

It was nice at first until we couldn't wash and dry our clothes. $500+ a night to not have clean clothes is unacceptable. They sent the maintenance guy to fix it but once we started using it again it still doesn't work. You can't call the front desk for help. Now we have wet clothes that we can't dry. No 24 hour service to fix. I will not stay here again for this price.
We stayed 6 nights in late July at the beach tower unit 904. We booked through vrbo with Munro from Elite vacation rentals. The villa looks even better in person than the pics posted. The view of the ocean and sunset everyday is just priceless. We had many meals at the lanai while viewing sunset, what a great way to wind down the day (no mosquito issue). There are also many dinning options within Ko Olina or venture out to near by Kapolei. The villa is well kept and has all the expected amenities and comfort of a home. Even stocked with beach toys, towel and chairs. Very easy to get all your shopping done at nearby Costco, target and Walmart. The lagoon in the front is probably the best one, never too crowded unlike the one in front of Aulani. Saw some turtles within our lagoon. However, we saw 6 turtles one day over the hidden/secret lagoon which is just a short walk up north passed JW Marriott Spa. A quiet protected beach that is connected with Lanikuhonua beach by paradise cove. Well worth the little hike. Management is very responsive. We were greeted by Blayne and he was entertaining and energetic, took his time to show us around the facility and the villa. We were challenged by the TV entertainment system and Munro came promptly and addressed the issue. Check out was a breeze. Overall, a fantastic stay !!
We stayed here during a recent visit to Oahu in a 3 bedroom, 3 bath villa that faced the lagoon pool. The condo was nice and had a nice kitchen and washer and dryer, etc. The lagoons and pools were perfect for everyone, including little kids. It is a drive from a lot of other areas on the island so you really need a car if you want to explore Oahu. My only complaint is that they were setting up for an Arashi Blast concert in the lot next door during the week we visited, so it was a little noisy from constructing the set, sound checks, rehearsing for the concert, etc. I would recommend asking if there are any special events happening in Ko'Olina before making a reservation if you are looking for a quieter spot to relax.
Loved our stay here with the breathtaking views & peaceful relaxation. A bit remote so renting a car is a must but well worth it. Daily activities available for all ages, made a lovely lei to enjoy on my last day. On site farmer's market with delicious fresh fruits, arts & craft fair by local artisans. Very thankful to have stayed here rather than crowded noisy Waikiki. Highly recommend this paradise on Oahu!
We are so glad to have found this condo in Ko Olina for our Hawaiian vacation. The owner is extremely helpful in answering questions prior to booking. We were provided with all of the information needed ahead of time to ensure we will have a pleasant stay. Upon arrival, the property manager was also very helpful and walked us around the property, taking the time to show us everything. The condo itself is simply spectacular. It looked better than the pictures / video tours. Very clean, well decorated, and has everything we needed (including adults/kids stuff to hit the beach with). The complex is also very beautiful and filled with nice people (owners and renters). The pools are wonderful. The koi ponds are incredible, with tons of well cared for large koi). Easy access to the lagoon/beach. Everything felt secure (as card key is required everywhere).
Just prior to checking into the condo, we had spent a couple of days next door at Aulani (Disney Resort) in a similar sized vacation villa (albeit at more than 2x the cost). Everyone in our family (4 adults + 2 kids) agreed the Ko Olina Beach Villa is BETTER than Aulani. The condo has more space, the grounds are more peaceful (read: less crowded), and everything just seemed cleaner and more orderly at the Beach Villa. I would highly recommend to anyone to just stay here at the Beach Villa. Visiting Aulani is easy (less than 10 minute walk door to door). If you must experience Disney first hand, then I'd suggesting doing what we did. Book Aulani for a night or two at the start of your vacation, and then transfer to the Beach Villa. You'll be glad you did.
