Papaya Paradise Bed and Breakfast
Ranked #4 of 13 Kailua B&B and Inns

Staying with Bob and Jeanette at Papaya Paradise was a wonderful way to begin our adventures in Hawaii. Their B&B is impeccably clean with a beautiful yard and view, centrally located for easy access to the beach, as well as other areas of the island. They were charming hosts who were delightful to talk to, and when asked they provided good suggestions on places to eat and things to see and do. They also had the amenities needed, such as beach chairs and towels, boogie boards, coolers, and several books filled with information on the area that were very useful. Breakfast was simple with terrific fresh coffee which could be enjoyed at your leisure on the lanai, with a fantastic view of the mountains. What a great way to start each day. The room we stayed in was well maintained and had everything we needed, including complete use of their outdoor pool, yard, lanai, and kitchenette. It had it's own entrance so you didn't have to feel like you were disturbing anyone when going in and out. I would not hesitate to stay here again if I’m lucky enough to get another chance to venture to Oahu. It was actually hard to leave since Bob and Jeanette made us feel so at home that it was like leaving warm and loving family members.

Kind, respectful, informative hosts!! Bob and Jeanette have a well kept secret with Papaya Paradise! Great pool and everything you could want and need are here including excellent wi-fi, parking and the best coffee in the world! The drive to the beach is short and sweet, and coming from Anchorage, we appreciated the less hustle of Kailua, after spending a few days in Waikiki. We went up to Windward Community College to see their performance of Phantom of the Opera and were astounded by the quality of the local talent! If you are staying with Bob and Jeanette, check out WCC's event calender. There is also a car show the first Saturday of the month in the area that is worth attending. It's 5-9pm at a local mall. You will NOT be disappointed with Papaya Paradise. Everything was very, very clean and nice!

I have been to Oahu many times but have never stayed on this part of the island. This was a great place to stay and will be staying there again the next time I come back. The owners, Bob and Jeanette were friendly and had great advise for things to do and places to eat. It was pretty close to the beach and town which made walking everywhere very easy. You won't be disappointed with Papaya Paradise Bed and Breakfast.

A beautiful place and relaxing, quiet room. Our hosts, Bob & Jeannette were kind, helpful and always had the coffee ready in the morning. We will definitely be back on our next trip.

Bob and Jeanette were wonderful hosts and the room was very clean, which was very important to me. They provided us lots of useful information on where to go, how to get there, what to expect and made many beach items available for us to use. The room AC was a bit loud and we could hear the people in the other room really well especially when they're in their bathroom. But we didn't need AC much and we had good night sleep. The removable shower head in the bathroom was nice and clean extra towels were available. We will chose this place again if we go back to Kailua and we do recommend to our friends for sure. Jeanette and Bob are such sweethearts.
