Really one of the best beach for fish watching. For snorkeling the waters in this inlet are even calm for small children. When you are on North Shore you have to be careful because most of the beaches can have "angry seas"

Beautiful spot to have a swim and snorkel. Very picturesque beach. We stopped here for a swim and it was so peaceful after the busy Waikiki Beach.

The beach is half an hour to 45 minutes away from downtown Honolulu. There are some tour buses stop off at the park on and off. For the most part, the beach is very quiet. The day we went, we were the only group in the water. We spotted 2 turtles in the water swimming with us. The park might be under construction. There is no shower but a restroom on site. There is a very low water faucet.

The park is large and grassy. Not a lot of shade areas. Has nice bathrooms. Also the location for the summer festival.

We came to Haleiwa Beach Park multiple times during our stay on Oahu. We set up in front of the Beach House restaurant where we found on street parking. It is a great area for swimming and a very popular area for paddle boarding. We really enjoyed paddling under the rainbow bridge and saw several turtles in the area. We also saw a lot of crabs crawling around on the rocks. It was a great laid back beach on the North Shore.

Great beach for a place to enjoy grass, some sand, and snorkeling. Bring your shoes or a paddle board, though. This is not the best place to go swimming. The coral on the west side covers much of the beach but there are often sea turtles on the beach or at least in the water. Go to the center of the beach for a little more sand, or go boating. Lots to offer with bathrooms, pits for charcoal after you've cooked a meal, and a nice grassy field.

Nice big park on the water, plenty of open space, but there are a lot of much better spots in the area. Showers/change rooms closed for renovations but toilets open. I think they need a bulldozer renovation as the pavilion looks like it could come down any time, large sections of foreshore fenced off.

This is a cute little town, kind of like the Byron Bay (Australia) of Hawaii.
Stopped for refreshments on our way North, locals are super friendly and willing to talk to you about the area and even some chilled hidden places to hang out. If your driving north and need to stretch your legs, stop and go for a stroll - make sure you check out the street art!

This beach is just to the east of the harbor and is a good sandy beach and not too rough most of the time. There are restrooms, a basketball court as well as a playground area.
