Very accommodating staff-everyone was friendly and helpful, loved our room with the patio-beach within steps of patio. Great staff, clean and beautiful resort-music nightly by pool and at restaurant-could be poolside or at beach and enjoy the music-can’t wait to come back!!!!

Stayed: August 2018, travelled as a couple

We have been going there for many years...our kids have grown up there...it's a great vacation spot. Several staff members know our kids and have watched them grow. Staff is friendly, food is great, rooms are fantastic. We look forward to our next vacation there next year!

Our room had a partial view of the ocean and overlooking the golf course. It was very nice. The Luau was amazing with plenty of great food and drinks as we did the ambassador choice. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Cost of food as on most of Maui was quite high.

Room Tip: Ask for a partial or full view of the ocean. The lanais are a great place to relax.

The staff was very kind and helpful before we even arrived. We were massively delayed due to maintenance issues with our airline, and the staff was very nice and helpful each time we called to update them on our expected arrival time. When we finally arrived a day and a half late, our room was ready and waiting for us. We paid for an ocean view room, and our room on the 12th floor did not disappoint. We were actually blown away with the view when we walked in. We weren't "ocean front," so we did still have a view of some of the resort's buildings, but we still thought it was amazing. We initially paid for valet parking, which was great, but we're a little forgetful and often need to run back to the car for things and often run slightly late, so it ended up being easier for us to self-park. We went to the front desk the 2nd day of our trip and explained that to them and they switched us to self-parking no problem. We found close parking when we would come back earlier in the day, but the nights we got back after around 9PM, we had to park in section of the lot that was further out. I had read on some reviews that parking in this lot resulted in a far walk, but it was a completely fine walk for a couple of twenty-somethings. Our room was nice and clean and a perfect place to come back to at the end of the day. It seemed like housekeeping came pretty early, but we were always out and about so it didn't bother us. We only ate in the restaurant once, for breakfast, and it wasn't anything amazing but it also wasn't bad. They had a good bottomless mimosa deal!
There were a couple of pools, but we opted to spend our time on the beach. From the time we spent at the beach bar next to the pools, it seemed like there were a lot of kids and it got pretty noisy at times.
We LOVED being right on the beach. We rented chairs and an umbrella from a store off the property, which resulted in paying a little less than we would have if we rented those from the resort. It was REALLY windy when we stayed, which was less than ideal, but there's nothing the resort can do about that! It seemed like this area was prone to wind though, as the weather was a little more calm when we went into central Lahaina. There's a great path that goes past all of the surrounding resorts and passes through Whaler's Village. We're pretty fast walkers, and it took us about 20 minutes to walk from the resort to Whaler's Village. That area is pretty loud and active, so it was nice to be away from that but have the option to have a short walk over there if we wanted to.
We got massages at the spa, and we thought they were great. Since we indicated that it was our honeymoon when we booked, they gave us a 10% off coupon for a spa service. When we went to the concierge to book, we were able to get appointments for a couples massage for the next day. We originally tried to book an outdoor couples massage, but there weren't any available appointments until the end of the week. We wanted our treatments ASAP, so we booked traditional indoor services.
We thought this resort was perfect for a couple of twenty-something honeymooners, and we would love to come back again!

Room Tip: Good beach, nice view from an ocean view room,

Excellent view and nice rooms. The food is not the best, but there are other good restaurants walking distance or within a short drive. It was very useful tonhave an expedia concierge to help us book tours. I would stay here again.
