“Lovely condo with great views!”

Lovely condo at Kahana Reef. Very well equipped. Can not say enough good things about the management company... the house was immaculate when we arrived, which often is not the case. This home is fully stocked, right down to Tommy Bahama Beach chairs. The owners have thought of everything!

Views are beautiful. There are a couple of "issues", however they are intrinsic with the unit, which can't be changed. There's no A/C. The breezes are wonderful, and we weren't hot, but you have to be used to the sounds of ocean and wind coming through. No washer/drier in the unit. Not a huge problem, but just be aware of that. Wifi was very sketchy.

It's not a big community. There is a community grill and small pool. Of course, there's a huge salt water pool right outside!

“We loved this condo!”
Reviewed 5 August 2015 for a stay in July 2015

We stayed in this place in July 2015.
Amazing condo!
We appreciated the modern kitchen with absolutely everything we needed!
Very clean place, many upgrades, spacious enough for our family of 4 !
We were very happy with the location! It took only 10-15 min drive to Lahaina town. Only 10 minutes drive to a beautiful Honolua Bay. There are so many restaurants , grocery stores, supermarkets nearby!
The views from the balcony - oh, there are no words to describe this beauty!
The condo grounds and the swimming pool were very well maintained.
Such great rental expirience!
I would definitely recommend this condo to my friends!

“Magical Escape from Aussie Winter!”
Reviewed 13 July 2015 for a stay in April 2015

We stayed in #422 Kahana Reef in the first week of April and were pleasantly surprised…magic! The unit is very private as it is on the top floor and at the end of the building. Next door is a lovely uncrowded beach and fisherman’s cottage… not another condo!

The view of the ocean … spectacular…it is directly below the balcony. We went to sleep listening to crashing waves as the trade winds blew through our windows, saw rainbows after sun showers, beautiful sunsets, twinkling stars and a full moon. Had Kona coffee in the morning and watched the turtles feeding off the wall below as red headed cardinals visited and whales breached in the distance!

The condo is fully equipped and comfortable. The China Boat restaurant is directly across the street, Miso Phat for Japanese is walking distance, as is a small coffee shop and a general store. Just down the street is a fish market and an organic market. So easy, no driving in crazy traffic required!

If low key comfort appeals to you, this is the place. Also the free wifi worked well and we enjoyed the simplicity of free calls to the US and Canada. Sweet!

In July and August this place would be a great escape from a cold damp Australian winter. I will definitely be back!

“Bit of a drive from things, but very affordable for Maui.”

we stayed at kahana reef for a week in late January, early February 2014. We had to drive to get to everything we wanted to do, but for the price, it wasn't bad. The kitchen was stocked with everything that we needed, including spices and we just bought the rest. the patio was just off of the water and we could see whales at all times a day. we had a great view of Molokai and spent many hours outside on the patio. We spend our last two days in Maui in Kihei and paid a lot more for much much less. I'm very pleased with Kahana reef and Id stay there again.
