We just returned form 4 nights at this hotel. My suggestion is do NOT stay in the resort view room. Our room faced the rear of the hotel, which included an ugly view of the roof and air conditioning unit, tennis courts, and traffic. The other problem we had was our neighbors who kept smoking even though we complained to management (it's supposed to be a smoke free hotel), it didn't seem like anything was done. I was happy to leave. Sheraton reluctantly gave us a $100 credit, hardly a dent on what we spent. On a positive note, the hotel and grounds were lovely, the pool was very nice, and it's very convenient to one of best snorkelling spots in Maui Black Rock.

Room Tip: do not reserve a resort view room, which looks out the back of the hotel.

Aloha,

Thank you for taking the time to review our resort. It is great to hear that you enjoyed the resort grounds, the swimming pool and legendary Black Rock. We apologize for any inconveniences during your stay due to your guest room neighbors. We try our best to accommodate every guest in the resort and we apologize that we were unable to resolve the issue to your expectations. Your feedback is truly valued and has been forwarded to upper management for review. Thank you for choosing the Sheraton Maui.

Mahalo,

This was my favourite place on our whole four island trip. The beach was fantastic.

So close to the beach, we went snorkeling everyday and saw amazing fish and giant sea turtles on a regular basis!! UNREAL experience!!!

Room Tip: Our tip is to ask to be in a pavillion that's closest to the beach! I think they have 3 pavillio...

This is going to be short and sweet. The Sheraton Resort and Spa Maui is simply the best. Every detail that was needed for the week was handled with promptness and a smile. The beach is AWESOME and is a very short walk to a number of shops (Whaler's Village). My wife and I never had to wait for an elevator. It was freaky at times, we would walk towards the elevator, and the door would open with nobody on it. Beautiful grounds, spread out to not give a crowded feeling. Worth every penny. We didn't dine at the resort because we had a number of great recommendations from friends abotu local joints, but from what I hear, top notch. I can't wait to return to Maui and the Sheraton is where we will stay. Mahalo to the staff.

Room Tip: Some "resort view" rooms still have a view of the ocean. They will try to upgrade you, bu...

The hotel has nice rooms and a nice beach but blackrock kinda takes away from the beach since you cant walk up and down the beach both ways. I really cant complain about anything but there are nicer places to stay in Maui.
