Don't rent this unit unless you have a backup plan. We booked several months in advance and owners decided they wanted to use the unit during our dates. Leaving us with plane reservations and no place to stay! We've stayed at SB many times. This is a first... And last.

We paid $152 for 14 nights in MY 2014. Lower level beach front.
Well equipped..nice dishes, pots, pans, coffee maker. Comfortable king bed, quality linens. Dated appliances, and furnishings. Indoor/outdoor carpet...should be tile throughout. Entry door is old and hard to open and close..should have a card key system for security. Green carpet on deck should have been replaced 5 years ago. Patio doors old..need to be replaced or at least oiled. Patio walls need a coat of paint.
General cleanliness only a C. Not detailed...as my mom would say...they gave it a lick and a promise. Baths not sanitized and a little smelly...I used my slippers entire time as did not feel floors were clean.
Grounds are ok...need more detail. Pool and spa very clean. BBQ's cleaned daily. Lady at front desk kind of grumpy. Patios on ground floor when not occupied are always a mess..disorganized furniture and dusty..make owners insure they look good at all times.
The staff at ALII is great..from reservations, call when we landed, Sandy at checkin and followup throughout the visit.
Owners needtoo spend a few bucks of their huge equity to refurbish units...if not the rates will never grow.
Will we be back...probably not...would we recommend to a friend..maybe..depends on what they are looking for.
