Went for the sunset views over Hanalei Bay which can't be beat. Enjoyed some Prosecco and were looking forward to. King Crab sushi selection but it fell far short of expectations. The "King Crab" sushi tasted pretty much like cream cheese, not sure there was any King Crab in there at all. The selection of sashimi that topped it was good. My advice is to stick with the basics. Casual attire is fine. Get there early to get a seat outside or by the window.

The St Regis Bar serves wonderful wine and cocktails, but be sure to go just before the sun sets - that way your experience will be enhanced and become even more memorable.

The explanation for the sunset tradition is given in both English and Hawaiian - making for a great introduction to both the warm Hawaiian culture and their beautiful sunsets over Makena.

Don't expect happy hour pricing here, as you are clearly paying for the views and atmosphere, but it's still totally worth it! They were all awesome and let my wife and I stick around for a couple hours with our 10-week-old daughter, and we thoroughly enjoyed our drinks and sushi. Whether you get a magical sunset or not, this bar delivers a memorable experience of Hanalei Bay.

We went to the St. Regis bar to watch the sunset, see their sunset ceremony and enjoy a cocktail. We had tried going to another restaurant to view the sunset, but left and went to the St Regis bar. We weren’t disappointed. Their flatbread appetizer was delicious! Drinks were no more expensive than any other place on the island. This is the place to be if you want to watch the sunset in Princeville. You won’t be disappointed!
