My husband and I recently spent two weeks at Puu Poa 413. Of all of the vacation rentals that I have stayed at, this one had the best management. It was sparkling clean when we checked in, and the amenities in the condo were top notch. There were even nice touches like instructions on how to work appliances and the TV, etc.

The location provided easy access to several excellent beaches, and the views were amazing. The furnishings are newer and the beds are very comfortable. Beach towels, boogie boards, etc. are all available for your use. The unit does not have air conditioning, and as it is a top floor unit, it does get hot in the afternoon and evening.

Puu Poa #413 is priced higher than many other condos in the area, I think due to: 1) it is much larger at about 1500 sq feet, 2) it is oceanfront, and 3) it is upgraded with premium appliances and televisions/cable, etc.

If you are looking for bargain accommodations, you will be better off choosing a condo such as Alii Kai. This complex is just down the street and offers a very similar experience to Puu Poa at about half the price. If oceanfront and larger size is important to you, Puu Poa is a wonderful choice.
