Wonderful place for a late lunch when it's not too crowded with one of the best views on the island. Great tropical drink offerings and though it may not be the most gourmet restaurant around, its food is reliably very good with interesting taste offerings. Very nice service, too, with friendly staff. You can't go wrong for an enjoyable dining experience.

The Beach House Restaurant is a fabulous location to watch the sunset in Poipu Beach. Our dining table faced the ocean and allowed gorgeous views. The presentations of our Seared Ahi Poke and Crab Cakes were just as delightful as well as our main entrees of Seafood Liguine and Seared Scallops. The individual Pacific Rim dishes take time to prepare and the service made the dinner longer than expected. The two of us dined for two hours. The well prepared food deserves better wait service to live up to the full potential that the Beach House could offer.

Visited Beach House on Easter after avoiding it for years after a bad visit. We were pleasantly surprised at how attentive our waitress Kristen was, letting us take our time with a cocktail before ordering. Both of us had fresh fish and were satisfied, along with an arugula salad and the crispy calamari. Even though this place really needs a menu update, we had great service , good food and plenty of attention from all the busboys.

Best Mai Tai I had all week. We made our reservation before we left home, as my brother recommended the place very highly. The staff were friendly and attentive and the food was excellent. The photographer signed people up ahead of time, and then we went out at sunset. She came by with options on an iPad later and delivered by e-mail before we got to the hotel. Loved the photo and it was cheaper than I expected. All in all, a very pleasant evening.

We've been going to the Beach House restaurant for years.. Sorry to say it was very disappointing. The food was tasteless and we could tell the chef is not tasting the food he is cooking. If you want to spend hundreds of dollars to watch the sun set then go. If you only want to see the sunset take a picnic and go to the beach park and watch it.
Service is not what it used to be and the food is overpriced and nothing special. I couldn't even finish my dinner.. My husband's was not good either. It used to be such a good place to dine out and now I know why the locals don't go there anymore. Try someplace else on the south shore. It's all hype these days. Banking of the unknowing tourist who wont be back.
