The significance of the Hawaiian culture and history are demonstrated in the commentary and music of Hawaii Alive. And the charm of this show is that the family, wife, sons, nieces, and nephews are part of the performance. Aloha nui!

The luau at the Courtyard Marriott is, hands down, the best one I have ever attended. I’ve been to luaus on 5 Hawaiian Islands and the Courtyard Marriott had the fantastic combination of great food with a show stopping entertainment lineup. The story they wove along with the music and dancing was spectacular! They are far and above the most wonderful entertainment I’ve seen at a luau – ever!

Great show, it was lots of fun. Several different types of dances. Wife especially liked the fire dancing.

We went here for dinner and show one evening during our stay in Kauai. We loved the show and the beverages that were served. The buffet had a large selection, but you can find better quality food on the island.

This is a great show in the open air courtyard at the Marriott. With pre-ordered tickets for show only, the line to get in moved quickly. Seating is "choose your own" so get there early if you want front row. It's a fairly small crowd so the feeling is a bit more intimate as Wallis, the narrator and owner of this company interacts well with the crowd. Wallis is a native of Kauai and has been involved in Hawaiian culture, music and entertainment on the island his whole life as were his parents. The music is live and of exceptional quality as was the dancing.
