Check in was basic, no further information about hotel delivered. Breakfast time, fitness center, pool hours, ...) Room 4005 was very loud. Entrance door should be better sound proofed. You hear the birds very loud before sunrise and when the housekeeper goes around to mop the tiles on each floor you think there is a gun shooting in your room. Get a better cart for them. Our room was located right by the path across the train track. There should be another way to make sure that the track is free as the annoying alarm sound. The train dose not feel like vacation. ( we`ve been told that we could not change rooms due to sold out) Why dose the train stops at a building closed for renovation? Sport facilities are in the last corner hard to find. In such a nice location would be a more central place and maybe a view very nice. Spar area was very nice as well as the entire pool, the lagoon and the garden.

Our goal is 100% satisfaction and when we miss that, as we did in your case, it's disappointing to us. Hilton Waikoloa Village is the perfect hotel for families. The Dolphins are a highlight for the kids. There is large swimming pools and a lagoon, where you can paddle board. Beautiful Resort; without the cons.

This is a great place to visit, the views are great no matter where you are standing there is something beautiful to look at. If you stay in the ocean tower you get a great work out regardless of where you are going. We skipped the tram and only rode the boat twice just because its a nice ride. The resort has plenty to keep you busy, the pools are great and there is entertainment in the lounge nightly. They recently added DVD machines where you can rent movies for free and return them in 24 hours. This is a fun feature and does have very recent movies in it. The restaurants are good bit I was not impressed with KPC this time, the service was slow and the menu used to be better, my husband couldn't even get a potato and he is on a restricted diet and all he could eat was a plain steak no potato available and bread, so that is a pass for us next time. Take a cab to Ruth Chris it will be worth the price of the cab. The hotel itself is kept up very well and they have people cleaning all the time. One thing we did notice is the cut backs with the staff. We were there 2 years ago and there were many more employees and the wait times were shorter. A couple of times we had to wait at the desk to ask a question because there was only one person working. One disappointing thing is that when we were there 2 years ago the elevator was not working right in the ocean tower and it still isn't you would think it would have gotten fixed by now. Overall a great place to stay

This is the Disneyland of resorts. Best grounds and restaurants. Breakfast buffet--lots of dirty dishes and waiters/waitresses trying to charge you for more than you ordered, but the food selection and quality is outstanding. Tram service is necessary if you stay in the Ocean tower, but the Tram is unreliable and sits around more than it moves. It would be nice if one of the restaurants had dance music nightly--DJ or band, doesn't matter.
