This B & B is a quiet retreat down a dirt road in the rain forest yet is only minutes from Volcanoes National Park. Cool, crisp mountain air. If you don't want to stay at the iconic Volcano House (across the street from the National Park Visitor Center) this is a pleasant, affordable alternative. The host stated that this is a shoes-free facility, so we were asked to remove our shoes upon entering, so bring your slippers or wear sox. Quiet, large room, private bath. Chairs on the porch through our screen door. Breakfast was juice, coffee, a pancake, whole wheat toast, and a couple orange slices.
