Avoid Avoid Avoid
We used to come here a few years ago, and loved it. But sadly, as we found out tonight, the original chef sold the business 2 years ago. He would be shocked at the change.
My husband ordered the chicken dish - all out. We ordered pasta, nothing else on the menu.
After we waited for ages, the waitress came out and said she forgot what we ordered. We told her and waited again for ages and finally got 2 pathetic wilted salads, with a bit of oil and balsamic thrown over the top. A total waste of $5 (each). We waited again for ages and finally got our raviolli with gorgonzolla. It was awful. Cold, glutinous, and not a hint of gorganzola. I pointed out to the waitress I could not taste any gorganzola. She brought back another plate of cold raviollis and gluey cheese and said "we made it extra strong" - barely a hint of gorgonzolla and still COLD. I asked if she could microwave it to make it hot. It came back, microwaved, but only slilghtly warmer.
We heard lots of banging and crashing in the kitchen.
Finally she told us they were all out of the special little digestif they always served customers after the meal was over.
Clearly the new owners are doing whatever they can to cut costs, save time and run on skeleton staff. Everyone was waiting, the food was like cheap cold cafeteria food, and whoever bought this place thinks they can be successful just using the name and venue. They will be out of business soon. The food was really dreadful.
