Hampton Inn tends to be our go to choice when traveling, but unfortunately the service at this property was a bit disappointing. Perhaps the receptionist was having a bad evening as she seemed a bit put off by our arrival. The room and our bathroom was clean and comfortable and we slept well. The next morning breakfast was below standard to the many other Hampton Inn's we've stayed. Although it was only 7:30 the omelets were cold and one tray was empty, bread tray was very empty, fruit was non existent, ice water gone, coffee needed refill. My husband had to search out the young man working the area to ask him to please refill the milk flask for cereal. He had to ask twice as the young man was too busy looking at his cell phone to be bothered. There were only two other couples eating in the area yet there were no clean tables, so we used napkins to wipe down a table. The eating area floors were extremely dirty, with eggs smeared in several places, cereal and other food spilled in other areas. At the other Hamptons we've stayed, we've found the morning BFast area staff to be present and busy keeping food & beverages stocked, keeping the tables and floors clean, and always with a smile. At the other Hamptons the morning staff sincerely seems to take pride in their job and the hotel... perhaps that is what was lacking here... or perhaps the staff at Sheridan were just having a bad day.

I stayed for one night and was pleased with the location and room. I love knowing that Hampton Inns provide consistent accommodations without any surprises. This one was no exception. The room was clean, quiet and provided the usual Hsmpton Inn amenities. Breakfast was good and appreciated. I took off one star because there was a problem with the television in the room. The front desk clerk took off fifteen dollars and she seemed annoyed. This is unusual for a Hampton Inn.

Receptionist Ms. Addie was so helpful and accomodating. She helped checked in 21 people in my group and was always smiling even though some people were rowdy and joking around. Her patience and hospitality are traits you can admire. She is a great asset to this place.

Wonderful facility! I would recommend anyone visiting the Sheridan area to stay at the Hampton Inn@Sheridan, WY. I think it is one of the best hotel chains around and a great value for what this hotel has to offer!

The noise in this hotel is horrible. It makes this nice hotel rank low. I would rather stay at a not so nice hotel and not have to worry about the people jumping up and down at all hours of the morning or the vacuum cleaner sounding like it was in the same room, or getting a random call accusing us of disturbing the people below us, when all we were doing is lightly walking around. Staff did not take care of any of this, they just passed the buck and had no fixes.
